With less than 3 minutes to go and Canada down by 2 goals I had lost hope. I tightly held onto my remote as precious seconds ticked away. With no hope in sight, out of no where, Mr. Miracle Eberle directed the puck into the American net. I leaped off my 2 foot high onto the ground in celebration. But amidst this craziness I realized Canada still needed another goal to force overtime. Guess what? A minute later he did it again. The score now read 5-5. Unbelievable. Eberly had once again slapped god across the face and created a miracle. Edmonton Oilers Prospect has cemented his reputation as a top class clutch player. This goal also pushed him past John Tavares for all-time scoring lead. Unfortunately, this miraculous effort was in vain as Americans dropped a nuclear bomb on Canadian hearts in overtime.

We may not have won the gold medal but what we got was a comeback which will be talked about forever. Respect to the Canadian Team, especially Eberle, for their efforts.

Don’t worry guys. Let’s focus on the big one now – THE OLYMPICS.

Canada and USA Juniors have both created some great moments for hockey fans. They will once again go head to head tomorrow to fight for hockey supremacy. Canada has been dominant throughout the tournament but USA is not be taken lightly. They always push Canadians to the limit. Canada-USA round robin match up was one for the ages and expect nothing less from these 2 teams when the puck drops tomorrow.

Good luck Canada. Eh-o-Canada-Go!
