We often come across strange things on the internet. While browsing through directory of random links I found a link to this very interesting site.
Basically, its a page containing a virtual spider for us to play with. (Really? Go to the nearest walmart and buy a yoyo or something) I, for one, am not too big on spiders. (Refer to Arachnophobia) yet I decide to visit the site. I wanted to know the impact it would have on me? Will it strike fear or will I be able to cope with it normally? This curiosity convinced me into clicking the link; the gate to virtual hell opens. I enter inside and sure enough this creepy creature has me paranoid within seconds. Whoever created that thing deserves accolade for its the most realistic simulation of a spider you’d ever come across. It must have taken a lot of effort to produce something that real and creepy. The spider lurks across your screen and follows your cursor as you try to shake it off. (My brain was sending uneasy chills down the length of my body as I watched this thing stroll across my computer screen) It’s persistent in its approach and only quits when you feed it some dead insects.
God damn, even on the internet spiders are destroying life. Why?
